Why is my home not selling?

Posted by: Madrienna Rorex

There can be many reason why your home isn't selling.  Such as your local market, the price you are offering it at or the location.  If you are asking yourself....."Why is my house not selling?" you aren't alone.  It's a common challenge and there are a few thing you dan do to increase your chances of success!

Make improvements by spending a small amount of money and a weekend to invest into small things you would noctice if you were the buyer. Such as cosmetic repairs, deep cleaning ect.

Curb appeal is where its at!  Play the potential buyers role and pull in the drive way.  What do you see?  You only get one chance at a first impression! Ask your realtor to follow up with the buyers agents on their opinions and work from that to rememdy the negative feedback.

Ask to view the listing photos before the realtor uploads them and always make sure they are using a real estate photographer.  And, make sure the listing description is highlighting your homes best features.

Ask your realtor is your listing will be promoted on their social media, will a live walk through be done, and if so share it on you social media or tag friends in it so that others will see it.

Pricing is also often a culprit when a home isn't moving on the market.  Make sure you discuss pricing with your realtor and heed their opinions.
